Let’s spring into the next Hampton Roads VegFest fundraiser! In honor of Johnny Appleseed Day–celebrating one of our nation’s pioneering vegetarians–come out to buy seeds for your spring garden donated by McDonald Garden Center while sipping on cold craft beer from Coelacanth Brewing Company. My Vegan Sweet Tooth, which so graciously supplies HRVF with scrumptious pies for the Pie-Eating Contest each year, will also be dishing up goodies! A dollar from each pint* benefits the 2018 Hampton Roads VegFest — but please make sure to mention to your bartender that you are there for the fundraiser!
Where: Coelacanth Brewing Company (760 A W 22nd St, Norfolk)
When: Saturday, March 10, 12-5 pm
RSVP on Facebook!
Every year, HRVF draws out thousands of vegans, vegetarians, and curious omnivores alike to feast on delicious cruelty-free food, hear from diverse speakers, shop eco-friendly products, and enjoy some of the region’s best entertainers — and it’s all FREE! But as a non-profit, we need your support!
So stop by our Spring Seed Celebration on March 10 at Coelacanth in Ghent to enjoy mouth-watering beer and sweet treats, stock up for your garden, shop VegFest merch, and learn how you can get involved in the third annual festival. If you aren’t able to make it but want to help make HRVF better, you can donate here!
(*Full beer menu benefits VegFest, excluding the Lionfish Imperial Gose)
